Frequently asked questions
How does the process work?
You send me your current CV (and the job spec for roles that interest you), we meet online to discuss your experience and goals, and I then produce a detailed, targeted rewrite. We review the draft together and you receive final versions to keep.
How long does a CV rewrite take?
A full CV rewrite — including the initial consultation, the detailed draft, a review call and your edits — typically takes 5 to 7 days from start to finish.
Who do you work with?
Senior professionals, mid-career and entry-level clients, graduates and students — anyone ready to be intentional about their job search. I also work with organisations on recruitment and interviewing, and with schools on CV and interview workshops.
Do you help with civil service applications?
Yes — I review civil and public service application forms in detail, checking your answers against the role's criteria and competency requirements and suggesting improvements to strengthen them.
Are sessions held online?
Yes — consultations, CV review calls and mock interviews are all held online, so you can work with me from anywhere in Ireland or abroad.
How many clients do you take on?
To give every client real attention, I work with only 3–4 clients a month. If I don't have capacity to work with you, I'm happy to recommend someone from my network.
How much does professional CV writing cost in Ireland?
Prices are fixed by experience level — a full CV rewrite is €170 at graduate level, €230 for experienced professionals and €300 for senior professionals, with bundles adding a cover letter or LinkedIn rewrite. See the pricing page for the full list.
Do you prepare people for competency-based interviews?
Yes — interview coaching covers competency-based and strengths-based formats, including civil and public service competitions. We identify the competencies in your job spec, build strong examples from your own experience and practise them across two mock interviews.
