Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 28 July 2026
These terms apply to services provided by Creating Futures (“we”, “us”) — career coaching, CV and cover letter writing, LinkedIn profile optimisation, interview coaching, application form reviews, workshops for schools, and recruitment support for organisations. By engaging our services you agree to these terms.
If anything here is unclear, contact us at Caroline@creatingfutures.ie before booking.
Bookings and payment
Prices for individual services are as published on our pricing page at the time of booking, or as quoted in writing for schools and organisations. Payment is due before work begins or as agreed in writing. We take on a limited number of clients each month, and a booking is confirmed only once we have accepted it and payment (or an agreed deposit) has been received.
What we need from you
Our work depends on the information you give us. You agree to provide accurate, honest information about your qualifications, experience and career history, and to respond to drafts and scheduling requests within a reasonable time. We are not responsible for errors in delivered documents that result from inaccurate information supplied to us.
Delivery and revisions
Written work (CVs, cover letters, LinkedIn profiles, application form reviews) is delivered as a draft for your review, followed by a review discussion and reasonable amendments, and then final versions for you to keep. Requests for amendments should be made within 14 days of receiving a draft. Substantial new work beyond the agreed scope — for example, targeting an entirely different role after the draft has been produced — may be quoted as a new engagement.
Coaching sessions are delivered online at the scheduled time. Timelines for delivery are set out when you book and depend on you providing the material we ask for.
Cancellations and rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule a coaching session or consultation, please give us at least 24 hours’ notice and we will rearrange it at no charge. Sessions missed without notice may be forfeited.
Cooling-off period: if you are a consumer, you have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days of booking. If you ask us to begin work within that period (which is usually the case, given delivery timelines), you acknowledge that once the service has been fully performed the right to cancel is lost, and that if you cancel after work has begun you may be charged for the work done up to that point.
No guarantee of outcomes
We bring 25 years of recruitment and career-coaching experience to every engagement, and our work is designed to give you the strongest possible application. However, hiring decisions rest with employers — we cannot and do not guarantee interviews, job offers or any particular outcome.
Your documents and ownership
Final documents we deliver are yours to use for your own job applications and career. We retain the right to use our own templates, structures and methods for other clients. We will never share your documents or personal information with anyone else — see our Privacy Policy.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, our total liability arising from any engagement is limited to the fees you paid for that engagement. We are not liable for indirect losses, such as loss of earnings or missed opportunities.
Schools and organisations
Workshops, recruitment support and interviewing services for schools and organisations are agreed by written quotation, which may include additional terms (dates, numbers, materials, invoicing). Where those terms differ from these, the written quotation takes precedence.
General
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the Irish courts have jurisdiction over any dispute. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. We may update these terms from time to time; the version published on this page at the time of your booking applies to your engagement.
